Program: Bee Culture 101 and Honey Tasting

This presentation will focus on a key pollinator population - bees. Honey bees and native bees coexisting in nature: What is and is not a bee, where and how they live, what they do, and importantly, what can humans do to create a healthy environment for the bees.

Since the presenters are local bee-keepers, the presentation will include a basic review of honey bee colonies, honey production, honey properties, and ending with honey tasting for all to enjoy!
